{From My Kitchen} Easy Apple Chips!

Our family LOVES apples! We eat them all.the.time! We recently discovered apple chips when my Mother-In-Law brought some over for us to try. The girls immediately loved them, but I was hesitant to purchase processed ones and decided to see if we could make our own:)

Well, it was way too easy and they turned out GREAT! You have GOT to try these!!

Seriously, 2 ingredients!

Sliced apples and cinnamon.
That's it.
Really....it is that simple:)
Preheat your oven to 225 degrees.
Lay out cookie sheets and line them with parchment paper (*NOT waxed paper!)

Slice up your apples and take out the core and seeds. Sprinkle them with a little cinnamon.
The girls had fun trying different mini cookie cutters to take out the seeds and cores of the sliced apples.
Lay out on the cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake one hour.

Turn them over and bake another hour or so.
Read a few books while you are waiting.

The smell in the house will make your mouth water!! Try to wait until they are finished (it will be hard:). Though, your family will likely think you are baking an apple pie, tee hee!

The apples will shrivel up and dry out. Once cooled, they will have a crunchy/crispy texture and taste really sweet! They are amazing!!

We will be making a lot of these this fall!!

Let me know how yours turn out! We hope you love them as much as we do!

Blessings,
Aria:)
